The little things, A Gift from God, Colossians 3

As a care giver it is easy to feel unnoticed.  With each new passing day a care giver does for others what most people take for granted.

Yet as care givers we must always maintain, or try and maintain, the discipline necessary to care for others.

In doing such it is easy to feel alone, scared, unnoticed.  It is here at this point in the day, the hour, the moment, that we must find our rest in God.  God is helping us, do we recognize such?  As followers of Jesus we must sit, be still, and rest.

We must rest in the fact that God tells us in Scripture, in the book of Colossians chapter 3 verse 23, "and whatever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men; Knowing that of the Lord you shall receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ."

See we must understand first that it is God who has us where we are, it may be our choices or the need for God to reveal Himself, as with Job, but no matter the reason rest in the fact that God is always in control, always has an open door policy, and always allows a way out,  all we have to do is just accept the Gift of GRACE that is from God.
